Frightening in the daytime
I hesitated to record this visit, but really need to share before anyone else makes the journey. On a trip from Philly to the shore, with time to kill on the way, I researched possible strip club options. Sanctuary was one of the few choices along the lonely byways of middle South Jersey... It would have to do! Detouring to the location took longer than expected, and when I arrived, I was instantly put off. You see, while it has the standard single built strip club look of a large plain Stucco box in a parking lot, there is nothing around for a half mile in any direction. Given the possible sketch factor in a new club, I like to know what the options are for getting out quickly if necessary...hate to say it, but this felt like a place where you could be "disappeared". Despite that strike against it, I noticed over a dozen cars in the lot on a weekday afternoon. Well, worth a shot, right? Cars, music spilling into the parking lot, let's check it out! Walked to the door, pulled on it and...locked tight. No buzzer, no bell. Hmm. Tried calling the listed number, answer. So...desolate location, loud music, fairly packed lot, and they lock you inside...if you happen to know the secret lock to get in. No thank you...feets don't fail me now! I now understand why this club had no reviews at all. Perhaps someone else will write a review of the interior and show me up for being too timid, but for now take this as it is, and understand that before I left this one star review, the place had a 0.0 rating!
