More Upscale Than the Rest

Washington Park is known for being quite a bit higher mileage than most areas of the country, with the customer being able to get just about anything they're looking for. On the downside, this means settling for clubs that are more run down in appearance and in a fairly shady area, as well as dancers that aren't going to be as attractive as other places. While this may be the norm in Washington Park, Scarlett's is a bit of an exception. I recently ended up here on a Thursday afternoon as I passed through the area, and wasn't really feeling the scene at some of the other dive clubs.

The club is located just down the road from Hustler Club, the other higher end club in the area, and has a large, fenced in parking lot. The building itself is considerably large for a strip club, and far nicer both on the outside and in than the other clubs in the area. There are two stages as you enter, one on each side. Stalls for nude lapdances are on the right, with a room with another stage down the hall to the left, which is primarily used for topless dances. VIP is up some stairs, I believe, though I didn't venture there.

While Scarlett's is certainly far nicer a location than other clubs in the area, that comes along with a steeper price tag, without the promise of extra services. Nude dances were $40 or 3 for $100, while topless dances were $25 each. I didn't go to VIP, but I believe it was north of $200 for 15 minutes. On the plus side, I went on Thursday, which meant that drinks were cheaper than they normally would be, $2.50 for a beer versus the normal $7, I believe. Since it was afternoon, there was also no cover.
