Paterson Tour [ Stop 1 of 7 ]

First time in Paterson, took a bus from NY and decided to start things off on Market street since there were 4 club in walking distance. Unfortunately they were open when I arrived at 6pm so backtracked via Uber to Sunrise. No cover, drink prices varied it seemed. I was getting back to back juice and vodka as I had 2 hours to kill. The first bartender changed me $12 each after a shift change / 3 drinks later another came and was only charging me $10 not sure if I was under or over charged. Was approached by a few dancers both from the stage to collect ones and also walking bar side. One came to me who was a former bartender at one of the market street clubs, she wasn't pushy at all and just sat next to me and talked but there was one too many awkward silences. I said to her, are you not going to talk your self up or persuade me to a dance and she said there's no need to look at me. But it wasn't in an over confident way, more like she was shy and was being defensing to my direct question during the silence. She didn't dance up on me for ones, so as other dancers approached and I gave them ones I felt obligated to give her one as well as she sat next to me. There was only a few customers at the time, so I was also hoping she would circle around so I others could get a chance to come over but she sat there for a while. I didn't mind much as I had time to kill anyway, so I got her a drink at some point she eventually had to go on stage and freed up the seat though I avoided eye contact as she danced. I didn't notice it as she was seated next to me though she did have an AMAZING body, young and pretty face. Just not the personally I would go for while at a strip club.

Fast forward from my "awkward first date". I met an older Dominican who was extremely attractive and friendly, smiled and laughed a lot. I got her a drink ( yes my time there was getting costly ), though we got lost in translation a lot as she didn't speak much English. Enough that she talked me into a lap dance, which was interesting as we did one while both standing. It was a bit playing around dancing to the music but still sexy and enjoyable. She tried to talk me up to another vip option but again the language became and issue. I asked it the time was up as it seemed we were back there for a bit and I didn't want to get double charged. So I headed back and she sat next to me again as other girls would approach, she was very chill.

At that point a dancer got off stage, great smile, natural body. Wasn't speaking much Spanish and it turns out she was from Brazil, which I know some of the language. Didn't matter much as her english was great and she and I hit it off she was very cool, into dancing asked me about good clubs to go dancing in NY, we spoke about how everyone in Rio thinks Brooklyn is so dangerous. And I said how everyone in America says rio is dangerous and at least we aren't kidnapping people which lead to a chuckle as I was not sure if that joke was a bit much. Meanwhile the irony of it all this conversation is happening at a bar in Paterson, which a lot of people who don't live in the area try to avoid.
