19th won't make it thru twenty 19
I keep trying to not give up hope that the Hole will disappear. Sadly, the vibe is depressing when you walk in. No one looks at you and the only girls that approach are not the ones you want to have approaching. The quality is continuing to decline - both customers and dancers. The majority of customers look a bit frayed around the edges, as does the building and furniture. The bar stools are broken and the seats are sliced with the stuffing coming out. The bar is rundown. The staff can never smile and barely says hi unless you do first. I want to believe that they'll get their act together and improve things, but it looks like a downward trajectory is inevitable.
I saw one long term dancer I wanted to spend time with. Before she was called up to dance, I didn't even know she was there. She got up, did a great couple of dances, and then started her tip parade. She got caught up with a regular for a very long time bar-side and after 30 minutes of waiting, I had enough. I chose another young, new dancer who insisted after we were behind the curtains that any contact would require a cover. Not that there's anything wrong with being safe, but she should have told me that beforehand. And, she doubled her expected tip for services once she had me in her clutches. I left the place, disappointed, but not surprised.
