This is becoming my go-to spot...

Have to say, HOOPS is starting to become my go-to spot. There is the occasional visit where no one really scratches my so-called itch, but at least every second visit I have found a real keeper.

The best part really is the low-key nature of the place. Really more like a sports bar with dancers than a full-on strip club. It's easy to get a free pass out on the street corner so no cover to deal with, and while beers can be expensive, there aren't any minimums or requirements from a drink standpoint.

This particular trip to NYC I hit it off with a young tall lady who again really enjoyed just chatting for a while and wasn't pushy at all for dances. That's really my M.O., so I was happy to indulge in convo first, and then happily spent about $200 over the course of the next 1,5 hours on dances which were all good mileage.
