A Different Follies Than I Remember

I visit Follies about once a year. It has always provided more attractive females than any other club I have visited in the afternoons. The mileage has always been off the charts. The reviews recently have been less than stellar and I need to agree with those reviews.

I arrived around noon to avoid the mandatory valet parking. It’s not that I am cheap, it is just that I don’t want someone driving my truck and would rather keep my keys. I entered and received the license check and pat down by the door girl and gave her a tip of Mr. Lincoln.

Walked in and the music played at this time of day was great – 70’s and 80’s, but that only lasted for the first hour or so. The club even seemed a little brighter at this time, but again it was dark after a little time. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a beer that was either $5.50 or $5.25. I did not see the quarters, but left a buck tip to add to the automatic tip.
