Sunday was Suck

**This is long-winded and contains flashes of raw, primal anger, so fasten your seatbelts.**

To quote the famous Russian hockey bard Alex Ovechkin, he said 12 months ago, “we’re not gonna be suck this year”. And then he and the boys delivered. So when I saw the reviews for Ritz recently, they by and large indicated this club wasn’t gonna be suck. On Sunday night I had bailed out on Millstream and decided to give this place a shot.

Club is in a decent, upgrading neighborhood not far from Fells Point, with street parking available on this Sunday night. Two door guys and a dancer conversing outside. The cover on this Sunday night was $10. Definitely and overtly high end, especially on a Sunday night. So naturally I expected greatness.
