Afternoon at the Landing Strip

The Landing Strip is only a few miles from Detroit Metro Airport and as a result many travelers stop in. The travelers often pay more than locals, inflating prices.

I arrived by Uber and so I did not have to pay the $7 (plus $1 tip) valet fee. There is no cover charge in the afternoon. I ordered a bucket of 5 beers for $25, which satisfied me. I also bought 3 drinks for dancers for another $31. The club serves food, which I find acceptable, but I did not order anything today. They were advertising 2 pounds of crab legs for $35, but that's more than I could eat.

The club has a bar at one end, a stripper stage with 4 or 5 poles in the middle, and on the other side the bathrooms and entrance to the dancer locker room. The bathroom is clean and has a bathroom troll to whom you give $1.
