Decent alternative to Gold Club

So we normally will visit the Gold Club if we're in SF and want to go to a strip club, but my friends and I decided to try Centerfolds to mix things up. It's located on Broadway and is pretty close to several other clubs (Penthouse, Hustler, etc.) so you can hit up different clubs in a single night if that's your thing or you get tired of the place you're at. The club is in a pretty trafficked area so there shouldn't be any issue with safety. In fact, the only real problem you're likely to run into is getting a cab or Uber if you leave late since there are several other night/strip clubs in that area and a lot of them also close at 2AM.

Anyway, the club itself is pretty nice, although probably not as posh as the Gold Club, and the main area was a lot smaller than I expected. There is a main stage that you can sit at and then maybe 1 row of satellite tables, and it was a little difficult to find a place and it felt pretty cramped. After that, there are some booths along the back wall that have poles where the girls can dance on, although it looked like those were reserved seating only. The booths did not look very appealing anyway since you're squished in with 3 other guys in like a 3x3 foot space with the girl right above you. Most of the girls who did dances on those tables did not look very comfortable. There are also 2 satellite stages, and the girls rotate from both satellites to main stage before coming off so you'll probably need to tip her at one of these places and let her know you want a dance since it may be 12-15 minutes before she's available. There was a back room that maybe was for "private" groups upstairs near the bar that was not operational while we were there and then the private back rooms where you can get VIP dances. The bathroom didn't have a troll that night so no tipping necessary.

Price-wise, it's more expensive than Gold Club. Cover was $30 and we got quoted up to $60/dance depending on whether it was clothed/nude. As others have pointed out, they run 2-4-1 specials every ~30 minutes or so and that's your best option since you can get 6 dances versus 3 for $150 and pretty much every guy was aware of this since no one was going to the back rooms until they ran the special and had the girls come up on stage for roll call. At that point, there was a pretty big line to get in the back so maybe make arrangements with the girl you want to get dances from ahead of time so you don't have to wait as long once they call the special. Don't know why they don't just lower the prices to $20/song or run the specials every 15 minutes but you're probably best off telling a girl that you'll take her back when they do the 2-4-1 thing.
