Better than Salsa

This club was suggested as one that does not rip off visitors to the country so I thought I would have a look. Friendly doorman who said 2 drinks - he mentioned beer or rum and coke - were included in the door admission fee. Most of the tunes were Latin songs with a few songs in English occasionally mixed in. Mostly dark-haired, slender, sexy Latin girls - looks like they did not hire overweight dancers, at least for the evening shift. After your two drinks, the waiter ran a tab in a cup at your table or booth - especially useful when you called girls over for a drink and to try some conversation, as your tab total is always at arm's reach. A dancer's drink is about $12 U.S. dollars. Knowing some Spanish is then especially helpful although a few dancers knew some English - the dancer you invited would sit on your lap, with lapdances the norm while she sipped her drink and touching was allowed. These dancers were very friendly and it seemed they wanted to make you excited enough for a trip to a private room - about $65 I'm told, for a good half hour. Girls were tipped in this way at your table, not onstage. I didn't take the private option, but it was a good deal of fun meeting different dancers for long lapdances. I would say this is a fair-priced club for meeting the local cuties, especially if your idea of fun is lapdance heaven.
