Afternoon adventure

I had some extra time on a Friday afternoon and decided to check out Larry Flynt’s to see if it compared to the one back home. There was a rude awakening as I approached the doorman. The cover was an extra amount because I came by cab. Apparently, there is a reward to cab drivers by the clubs if they bring patrons to the club. Something the doorman, in turn, charges you.

Once inside, the club was quiet. No dancers on stage and I am told that they arrive whenever they feel like it. I sat at a table and had lunch. It was good and inexpensive. Finally, a dancer arrived. After greeting what I will assume as one of her regulars, she danced on stage for one song, then sat at the table of her regular for the next hour. No more dancer. It was a bust.

Lessons:

1. If you come to a strip club in Vegas by cab, have them drop you off a block away and walk to the club.

2. Skip this place on early afternoons.
