open for business?

Stopped by as I was passing along the highway and had a little time to kill. It was around 3pm. As I entered the building the bartender informed me that there were no girls working that day, although they had "opened" at noon.

I asked if I could at least use the restroom before I hit the road again. She admonised me that resrooms are for customers only. I let her know that I would have been happy to be a customer had they actually been open for business as advertised. She recognized the logic in that and let me pass. I thanked her again on the way out and that was that.

The club itself seemed nice enough. The lighting was appropriate. There was a bar to the right, and a large stage straight in front of you when you walk in. Nothing too fancy, but not bad for what you might expect in a place like this. Had there been any reason to stay, I would have felt comfortable spending some time and a few bucks hanging around.
