I was in town for a convention with a friend, and this was my first time at Brad's. The parking lot was very large and well-lit. Upon entering, I was a little surprised by the decor. I've read a lot of reviews that describe places as "Vegas-like" and always thought they were exaggerating. Brad's felt almost like a 70s biker bar or something. There was lots of wood paneling, and the ceiling was pretty low. I believe the cover charge was $8, and the guy taking our money asked us to lift our shirts and turn around. It was kind of a strange first impression.

We sat down and tried to get our bearings. There is one main stage with 3 poles which allow 3 dancers to be performing at once. There's an additional small back stage, but one girl called it a practice stage. I saw girls at it but wasn't sure if it was meant to be visited by customers.

Eventually, we were approached and the way the club works was explained to us. I believe they will do short, tableside dances for $5. I think these are only for a minute or so. We didnt do any if these. I'm not sure if this is an Indy thing, but tips on stage had the girls either motorboat or straddle guys at the stage. It looked like fun, but I had not seen that frequency/volume of stage activity before. For myself personally, I like a bit of a cooloff period between guys butbthe dancers tended to move from one customer to the next. It's just something I hadn't encountered in a club before.
