Friday before midnight can be brutal

Came in around 10 after an evening at La Pearl. I figured a cheap release at La Pearl (under $80 total for entry, drink and barside fuck) would let me be a little more selective at the Hole, where dances actually cost money.

Monroe came out of the lap dance area, walked behind to the dressing room area behind the DJ, and didn't emerge again. The dancers were almost all African American, but for the most part the black dancers at the Hole really run their prices high figuring they are out in the suburbs, or (such as Nova) look cute and don't offer much.

The only dancer of any interest was Thai, who has the figure of pre-blowup Monroe and performs just as well, although covered. Unfortunately, while Monroe is straight to business Thai is talkative, cheerful and friendly, and can spend an hour or two making one circle around the bar. I'd already had success for the night, so I ended up bailing--the one good thing was that although there were a good number of dancers there were lulls with none circulating, so the dollar parade was pretty light. I think I got out for less than $30.
