Pretty girls, but the whole place is more businesslike than fun
Ended up at CP around 11 PM on a weeknight not long ago after some undetermined number of cocktails. Probably 20-25 dancers on hand. $5 cover (I think - blame the cocktails). As an American visitor, one thing that always seems odd to me in Montreal is the blatant "Tipping is mandatory!" attitude from guys who show you to seats at these clubs. The place was half empty, there were plenty of seats, and this guy showed me to a bar seat that couldn't turn around to view the stage, then told me I HAD TO tip him. So he gave me a "service" I didn't need, showed me to a seat I didn't want, and then demanded a tip. Ridiculous. I have no problem tipping for actual service, I usually do >20% at restaurants, but tipping for this is absurd. I gave him the first coin I found in my pocket, no clue what it was worth, but whatever it was, it was too much.
Good mix of dancer body types, ethnicities, etc, and most of them were attractive to hot. Solid talent overall. I only got dances from a couple of them this time and sorry, I don't recall names (again, the cocktails). First was a tall, athletic brunette, who gave solid "Montreal contact dances" - you can touch anywhere except the v, but they do little or no grinding on you. Enjoyed a few dances with her. Then I met a very attractive blonde who talked me into 15 minutes for $60 and laying out the aforementioned rules for dances. I agreed, then on the second song she pushed my hands away from her breasts and said "You can't touch me that much." WTF? That sure wasn't what she said before I paid her. anyway, I ended up paying her for two songs and walking out.
I've had fun at CP before, so I don't think this visit was representative. And I know these clubs are all about separating you from your money. But man, on this night CP really managed to suck all the fun out of this.
