Now I know why . . .

I've read the reviews. I've checked out the website. But I don't often get the opportunity to head down to Houston and, when I do, I am rarely on the far Northside of town. But that may change.

The parking lot of the club is self-contained and, although it has a valet option, it's not necessary to pay the $$ to park. Very reasonable cover charge ($3? or $5?). Normally, I don't like a club with a metal detector. But this one wasn't a pain in the neck. As I'm going in, the hostess asks me whether I she can let anyone in particular know that I have arrived. Dang. That's a new one on me. Unfortunately, I'm new. Don't know a soul here. Thought about throwing out a random name (Star, Amber, Destiny, Skye, etc) and see what happened. Decided not to be a prick the first time I darkened their doors. Plenty of time for that later if I decided to come back.

The club is nice inside. Main stage and two satellites if I recall correctly. The only complaint I have is that there are multiple levels and its reasonably dark. Hard to spot the couple of steps up and couple of steps down when I'm distracted by the pretty women.
