I'm a veteran of the Akron strip club scene (as you can see by other reviews I've written over the years), and if I were you, I'd be very wary of this place. I had not yet checked it out, and, having some free time on a Tuesday afternoon, thought I would. The interior is nicely appointed for a strip club, with bar in the middle, a mirrored pole on a slightly raised stage at one end, and several curtained VIP areas at the other end. There's also a patio, which I did not investigate. There seemed to be three girls dancing, or at least sitting around, and two customers. The first to approach me was Ashley, a slender attractive strawberry blonde. I got a couple of barside ($5) dances from her and they were fine, but did not leave me wanting to try her in VIP. Then up walked Nikki, more heavyset (but not fat) with short brown hair and very interesting tattoos across her shoulders and arms. Her barside dances seemed more interesting, so I thought I'd try her in VIP. There are two VIP options - $20 per song and $30 per song. Since I was curious as to how interesting her dances might be, I opted for the latter. I don't push for extras, but I find that many dancers offer them behind the curtains at various establishments, so I thought I'd remain open to the possibility. We almost walked back there when there were only about 20 seconds left in a song, but I made sure we waited, so as not to be charged for that one. Then we went in and settled down behind the curtain. First song was interesting enough, so I thought we'd try a second, even though there were no extras involved. As that song was winding down, I decided I had checked out Nikki, and was feeling a bit "meh" about her VIP dances. So I thanked her and stood up as the song ended. She was a bit slow to put her top on, but she seemed a little slow in general, so I walked out to the side of the bar and waited for her. When she came out I handed her $60, she thanked me, and, deciding that none of the other dancers that I could see looked interesting, I headed outside to my car. As I was opening my car door I heard the bartender (older slightly heavy woman with dark hair) calling out to me, saying that Nikki was claiming I owed her another $30. I explained the situation to the bartender (i.e. two dances, no other deals made), and she said she (the bartender) hadn't kept track, but could I come in and explain this to Nikki. Foolishly (I suppose because it seemed so obvious), I walked back in the bar and explained this to Nikki, who, it seemed, had enlisted one of the other dancers (who I think was outside when our two songs began) to back her up. The bartender was unwilling to take a side, and I was getting increasingly pissed off. Not wanting to inspire any dancer violence, I tossed $30 on the bar, told them I would not be returning, and that I would be letting people know about these ripoff tactics which they apparently tolerate with their dancers. So there you have it, gentlemen. I'd stay away if I were you.
