Good streak just snapped

I’ve been on a surprisingly good run of positive trips to mr happys after what was the worst visit I had ever had. I had spent time with several young attractive girls 5 or 6 trips in a row, including several trips into the VIP area. I stopped in on a Thursday night, 8 dollar cover and took a look around. I only saw 3 dancers, one of whom was attractive. I tried to chat her up a little but she didn’t seem particularly interested. She made her way on stage about 10 minutes after I got there and I tossed some cash her way and again tried to engage in some conversation which went nowhere. Some more dancers came out during her stage set but none of them interested me either. After her set I once again tried to engage her near the bar but she soon after left to sit down with someone else and eat. No one else approached me (fortunately), and no one including the dancer I was talking with asked me for a dance. So after about 45 minutes of sitting at the bar and hoping to see some of the faces I had seen in recent trips, I hit the road only about $25 lighter. Not my worst trip, but far from a good one. It was an off night and I will return to see either familiar or new faces that better draw my interest.
