Pleasantly Surprised

This is the first time I had been to the Lamplighter. From other reviews, and from the fact that it is right next to the more popular slimy dive Centerfolds I thought it must be a super sketchy dive club. Not so. It is clean, comfortable, and the girls are friendly and interested. Don't expect an athletic pole dance at the stage, but do expect the girls to come around and give you personal attention. The are two LD seats right next to each other behind a curtain. Sometimes you have to wait in line with your girl for a $20 LD. When you get inside the curtain generally you will get a full contact dance with enough personal attention to keep you "interested." It was my first visit so I got a LD from nearly every girl, just to get a feel for the place. Only one girl asked for extra for full 2 way touch -- she wanted $30. There were two girls I would call 8s, one Asian and one blonde, and a number in the 6 range. There were also a couple of 4s. Most of the girls were decent talkers, although one spoke gibberish, I think she had some kind of brain damage--maybe drugs. At first I though she simply spoke English as a second language but after a while I became convinced it was something else. Entrance was $5 and beers were also about $5, but I'm a little fuzzy on that. All in all a pleasant experience. I will be back. There is a CR option, but I opted for variety rather than intensity.
