Not classy, but a good time

I had already visited Southern X earlier in the night, so decided to try out J.B.'s afterwards. I arrived at maybe 10:30 and stayed until near closing (at 2:30am). This place is nothing like Southern X, which could be good or bad, depending on your views.

The building looks a bit rough from the outside and isn't in a great part of town. There is plenty of parking, though, which is always nice. Expect to see people standing outside smoking. The inside of the club doesn't look any better. In fact, it doesn't even look like a strip club. It's a open room, with a bar at one end and stage at the other. The stage itself is as basic as possible. There area some scattered tables with cheap chairs. The chairs at the stage are rolling chairs that look like they probably came from a 1970s office building that went out of business.

Cover was $5 and there is a 1 drink minimum. I'm not sure how strongly that is enforced, as I had been there quite some time before buying anything. I wasn't drinking alcohol, so had 2 cans of soda throughout the night at $2 each.
