I left Blush last night after dropping my IPhone X on the second floor while I found it on my own I strongly suspect the manager called someone on their shit.
I went upstairs to find it magically sitting on the floor. I had offered a manager named Chris $600 to find it in cash.
I suspect instead of him extorting me he pulled someone aside and told them to put the phone back. It was very obviously placed on the floor a minute after I spoke with him. In years of going there he has always been a hell of a lot more respectful than Jimmy and his goon squad at Cheerleaders and I always feel comfortable at Blush.
I couldn’t find what I was looking for last night and took a $10 Lyft to Spearmint Rhino.
You need to first realize that the weather topped out at 90 degrees Fahrenheit yesterday and it was still in the mid 70s near midnight.
I was wearing a $60 long sleeved t and terry clothe purple shorts (not that it matters but they cost $120 dollars and sold out in 5 minutes online from the store I got them at in London)
I watched kids wearing $15 dollar oversized Khaki shorts down to their shins and Walmart Ts get in with zero issue in fact 60% of people outside were in shorts.
I had the bouncer politely but firmly deny me my shorts and my $600 money roll from entering. He claimed I was wearing Gym Shorts.
I suppose they want to encourage as little friction as possible and expected me to wear thick dress shorts or pants or a chastity belt.
There is a reason this club is getting such a shit reputation in PGH.
Better yet I hung out with a dancer this week who just quit because she said she’s making no money due to the location and other issues internally with the club. She feels even working at Cricket and being a top dancer there is better than Spearmint.
I guess I will never know if this club is as shitty on the inside as it’s bouncers make it from a logistical end.
