Surprisingly good stable of dancers

Generally speaking, I was happy with this my latest visit to Visions, "where the locals go", yup I'm a local.

I went on a Thursday evening, more in order to check on what the dancers were looking like recently, than for any other reason. That's because lately I've been mentioning, both in off-hand comments and in official reviews here on TUSCL, that the quality of dancers had been going slowly but perceptibly downhill for several years in all of the New Orleans strip club scene. But this Thursday shifted my assessment, for at Visions I was happy to see that there were several very-good to excellent dancers in terms of physical appearance. Otherwise, my experience at the club was mostly the same as it ever was, except that I found the outdoor smoking area less enjoyable than I had hoped it would be.

In specific, I arrived in the range of 9:30 pm, roughly. You can pay cover for which you get a ticket for your first beer for free; or you can get the coupon off the internet; or you can ask the door guy if you can maybe have a free-entry card. The people who work there have often recognized me, they're very good about that. I am not usually a super-duper-regular customer -- there have been occasions when I attended only five times a year? less? -- but they do a good job of letting me know that my business is appreciated. I frankly don't NEED my strip club bartenders and doormen to remember my name or what drink I prefer, but the fact that they overtly, pro-actively TRY to do so, and usually succeed, is really a pointer to just how hard-core Visions is about customer service. They do NOT want you to have a boring or corporate-lame time. I sometimes get the feel, at a Rick's or Penthouse, that the men who work there are trying to "protect" the dancers FROM the customers by making it as annoying as possible to get a good time with them. That isn't my feeling about Visions. Sure, there are rules, and the beefy guys who work at Visions look very plainly like they would cause you some serious problems if you broke some of those rules. But aside from that, the main feeling I get is, that there are a lot of dudes there who GO TO STRIP CLUBS themselves. And therefore know why a guy is there, what he's really in it for. The "fantasy" that is indeed a "reality" even if it is a "fantasy." Corporate types seem to act like, "Hey, no fuckin' FANTASIZING about MY GIRLS DAMMIT." But at Visions, even if the staff actually don't frequent other clubs, or if Visions is the only strip club they've ever stepped foot inside, somehow they give me the sense, that they're really helping me to get my hands on some sweet-looking nice young hot ...
