Still the King, but the other ZN clubs were worth going to :-)

This review covers my three day stay over the weekend... I'll be following up with reviews of Chicago and Adelitas.

For the first time, I went down to TJ for a three day stay after only doing overnighters before. Overall I'd have to say that by the third day I was about tapped out and in the future I'll only be doing one or two nights, but YMMV. I got into town around noon on Saturday, and as before I checked by backpack at the front desk of HK. This cost me $2 with a buck tip, and as before no one molested it so I recommend that for anyone getting there before check-in time at Cascadas. I picked up a VIP card to save on the hotel rate and got a jacuzzi room this time instead of a single. It was in nicer shape overall but I doubt I'm going to go for it again next time. A single or double is what I'll stick with. No fridge in the room (a bummer), and they asked for a $50 deposit at check-in (which I got back with no issues when I left). My room had a thermostat for the AC on the wall, so cooling it down and keeping it that way was easy and painless.

I brought plenty of cash with me and as I've said before, there's not much point in bringing more small bills than you need for the trolley and taxi IMO. They're more than happy to make change for you at the bar. I brought a couple of hundreds for the hotel and mostly fifties and twenties so I didn't have to worry about having a noticeably large wad of bills with me. I'm not going to go into the other logistics as they've been covered many times before except to confirm that the hotel rates have indeed gone up slightly.
