Because I can remember the "Old" spot over on Baltimore Street (not on The Block for those unfamiliar with the locale but with the name) there's just something a little bit off whenever I walk in here. The main stage is bigger and the girls are more accessible on stage than before. There used to be this little bouncer (we called him Ben but who knows why) in the old place who always wore a tux that would be forever yapping it up about not touching the girls on stage. Of course in the VIP all bets were off. The new place? The "VIP" area (also known as the plain ol' lap dancing area) seems to be in between the main club and the dressing room because there's fairly constant foot traffic. That would tend to make anything creative the entertainer or the patron has in mind entirely too interesting (especially in a town that has The Block down the road). There is another cheaper dance area at the door end of the bar, but it wasn't tried. Now it would be just plain irresponsible to recommend The Block without also listing the closest free clinic, so that I cannot do. But if that what's the thinking has come to there's just something not right about this place. Also for the unprepared, expect a little more weight and a rougher ride here than at a Player's Club or Showcase. Things to like: there is a full bar, the bartenders can pour, the crowd tends to be alright if you tend to be alright, and there are some decent lookers mixed in depending on the night. In any case, you'll get plenty of things you like on display and the dances can be alright (just not up to the original). There are tv's around with interesting things to watch, and the place is pretty laid back on the hustle factor. Just as a bar with naked women the place is up to snuff, but the son of uncle El's has a lot to live up to. It'll get another look, but for now it gets a 3.
