Disappointing Trip

The Gold Club has turned into my favorite Charlotte club but it does have its off days and this was one of them. Plenty of parking and you just walk right in with no checking or cover charge. My mixed drink was $8.50 I believe and beers are $6. When I got there a grand total of one 1! dancer was on duty. GC regulars will know who she is as she orders expensive drinks and asks for and expects a tip for her dances. She tries to sell the $30 dances upstairs but I've rarely gotten a better dance there than the $10 ones downstairs.

Later another dancer arrived and I got a couple of $10 table dances from her, which were very mediocre. I was meeting a friend so I left after about half hour but came back later and there were maybe 2 other dancers in addition to the original 2. So a pretty dead, boring afternoon this trip to the Gold Club but not a lot of choices in the area. Sometimes it's busy there and the vibe is great and some days are like this. You pays your money and you takes your chances.
