The Club Shows Promise
I stopped by my old stomping grounds from years ago on a recent trip to Charlotte. You still have to get buzzed in but no cover in the afternoon and no checking for a MAL membership. They have drink specials every day it appears..on this day it was $4 Miller Lites and $5 Fireballs. There was one other customer in the club when I arrived around 1pm, although a group of 3 guys came entered shortly afterwards.
There were 3 dancers on duty, one African American and a couple of southern white girls. As has seemingly been the case lately in Charlotte clubs, the white girls are pudgy and look a little rough while the A.A. girl was fit as could be. The A.A. dancer sat with me and chatted the normal amount before asking if I wanted a dance. She told me that I would like her dances and she was absolutely correct. She wasn't shy about leading my hands where she wanted them to go, and I do mean toward places instead of away, which was a welcome change. I took a table beside the lame VIP room which I forgot was at the entrance to the dressing room so the other dancers walked by a couple times. It wasn't a big deal but did interrupt the flow a little. I did notice after the dances that the other 2 dancers were giving table dances to customers as well. Table dances here are $10. I didn't do VIP but I believe it is $25 per song.
I planned on checking out a few clubs while I was there so I only got a few dances from the one dancer but it was well worth the time and money. L&L South is definitely in my rotation once again.
