I took a visit to Mardi Gras the other night and found my experience to be depressing and a bit of a waste of my time at best. Granted blowing off a couple of hours is probably still better around naked girls than it is hanging out at home. But knowing that the dances are all air, well I look to find something more like maybe a little personality, or a good chat. It never even got there.

It seems like the dancers at Mardi Gras use a standard operating procedure in asking, “Do you want some company?”. Well my ears only hear, “Would you like to spend your money for my air dances?” Needless to say, my reflex response is to say no. They can say what they want, and I understand a dancer must figure out who is serious about spending money on her and who is not; but with a little effort, there are better ways of approaching a guy.

So be it that it may, I was unable to get any info on whether Mardi Gras is on its last leg or not. If Sandy Springs is looking to close them and the other two clubs down, then most of the northwest side of Atlanta will be without a club. Then we should be concern with how far this spread.
