Rewind before the club burned down in 2014, there were 3 railed off open air lap dance sections with padded benches. The benches were relatively comfortable but not as comfortable as a sofa. Those lap dance sections were free and were required on week days. Floor lap dances were permitted on the weekends due to the crowds. Although open air, the largest/main lap dance section provided decent privacy because it was kind of cornered off. Toward the end of 2014 they decided to renovate the main lap dance section by building a wall around it, dimming the lights, and adding a TV. I was concerned about the wisdom and motive of such a renovation. As a customer, I figured that they wanted to charge for the extra privacy. They started charging $10 to used that area Thursday – Saturday. It was free Sunday – Wednesday. I also asked dancers how they felt about the renovation. Many of them were concerned that the privacy would encourage extras.

Fast forward to 2018. The 2 smaller lap dances areas have been removed. Only the main lap dance area remains. It is still walled off and dim but it lacks the TV and benches from 2014. Now all lap dances must be in that 1 area and a $10 wrist is required. Even though there are cameras, they have recently added a security guard sitting back there watch people get dances. I figured that the guard is there just for deterrence.

Combined with the hard-wooden chairs, this security guard makes getting lap dance extremely uncomfortable. It seems that walling off the lap dance area was an unwise decision. I understand that the club is between a rock and a hard place because several police inspected the club throughout the night.
