Nobody on stage. One dancer working. Another hiding.
Visited Ultra Violet around 6pm on a Thursday evening. It looked kind of closed from the outside, but it was, in fact, open. As I entered through the doorway, I was disappointed to see about six guys sitting around the bar doing nothing. That was it.
I meandered to the end of the bar and sat down. And waited. Eventually a female bartender appeared from the ladies room near the entrance with what seemed to be a stripper. The bartender came to the bar, the stripper quickly went through another doorway (a second ladies room?) behind the stage near the DJ booth. The bartender apologized for the long wait, mumbling something about why she was in the ladies room with the stripper, and served me a long awaited tasty beverage.
I sat at the end of that bar nursing my beer for what seemed like a long time, and then a second stripper appeared from behind me (from the outdoor patio). She was quickly scooped up by another patron and taken for a lapdance. By this point my mood had turned ugly, I was bored and tired of waiting for a dancer to get on stage. On observation was that, of the six guys in the bar, at least four seemed to work there. I say this because they stuck together near the cash register, and each of them went behind the bar at some point to look at a cooler that was apparently on the fritz before returning to their seat to rejoin their knitting circle.
