Comfortable Friday Night Visit to the Wheel

My latest Friday night visit to Players Club in Baltimore, aka "the Wheel" is best described as comfortable, not "exciting" or "hot" or "lewd" but pleasant.

Pulled up in the well-lit and safe feeling parking lot around 10. The days are long in late June and early July, so it didn't feel as late as it was. Unlike some places in Baltimore where you don't feel safe in your car going 50 MPH at noontime, the light industrial area around Players Club (and the nearby Gold Club) is pretty good, even at night. Cover is $25 with your members card ($40 otherwise), which is high but keeps the riff-raff out. Club is BYOB, so at the end of the night you come out ahead by bringing your own cheap liquor or beer rather than paying club prices. Inside, there's a very spartan "bar" where you can get a bottle of water ($5,) ice, or limited mixers. Darlene and the management prefers you get a red cup from the bar.

I counted 12 girls there, and about two dozen customers. Both stages were open, the girls would do two songs on the main stage and then shift over to the small stage. Even though this place calls itself "fully nude," only about half the girls got fully nekkid, although once they did they stayed nude for the rest of their stage show. Like usual, a very chill crowd with only about two or three guys coming up to tip each girl. No hustle, no rush, and like I said in my summary, pretty "comfortable." Nobody was there showing off for their friends, or getting rowdy, or anything like that. Pleasant.
