Lunchtime private dance
Lately lunchtime has become the easiest time for me to take a trip to a club, which is a bit limiting. I wanted a change from the Crazy Horse, Mitchell Brothers doesn't open until a bit later (and the last few times I've tried to make a visit, at least an 2 hours into their posted hours of operation, it has been closed), so it was off to the Gold Club. Bonus is their lunch buffet which means I didn't have to take extra time to grab lunch somewhere and it isn't half bad.
The reason for this review is to highlight the private dance rooms. My general hesitation in visiting the Gold Club is, though the stage show is not bad, the lap dances tend toward the tamer side. I've had a few in the open dance area. They're bikini dances and, depending on the dancer, can be near enough to air dances to make me reluctant to bother. During my last couple lunchtime trips here the private dance area on the first floor was also available for $100/3 songs. This latest trip I opted to try out the private room. They are packed together pretty tightly and separated from a small hallway by only a very sheer curtain, so there's a bit more privacy from other patrons (except when they enter or exit) but it is definitely still open for staff/security. You're seated in a chair not dissimilar to the chairs arrayed around the stage, so not quite ideal for a dance (why doesn't everywhere just go with bench seats?). I went back with a dancer calling herself Raven. Curly haired athletic looking white girl with a booty. Looked like she was sporting a nice pair up top too but I never got to see them as the dances in the private room are not topless either. She worked well with the limited space available to us (the rooms are just wide enough for a chair and just long enough to fit two chairs and a table) and gave a bit more of a grind than I've normally gotten in the open dance area.
Pros: A bit more privacy. (Possibly) The higher price might get you a better grind than out in the open, though I can't make any 1:1 comparisons for dancer behavior in this regard.
