Dissapointing and generally dead

Going late at night on a Tuesday I didn’t have high expectations. I know how to be reasonable and realistic. But his was deeply dissapointing. Club generally dead when I walked in. One dancer looking bored on stage. About five guys around the bar. No bartender in sight until she showed up five minutes after my arrival and charged me a $10 cover. Kind of ridiculous but my water was free so I guess that’s nice. Bartender was extremely friendly and pleasant.

There were probably four girls in the club. But most seemed to be spending their time making money (I’m told with high mileage) in the back. A few dancers looked like they would much rather be elsewhere, a few going through the motions, and a few putting in some real work. I don’t blame them for being a little disengaged, as the place was dead and there wasn’t a very charged vibe of atmosphere at all. Overall a bit of a wet sponge of a night. Gorgeous dancer gypsy was there, danced for one song, and spent an hour talking with an older suited guy at the bar.

This was a very unimpressive night. Not even sure if it’s worth going back but I may give just one more try.
