Random Friday Night Trip

The Club

Out drinking with a couple friends and decided to hit up Archibald's since none of us had ever been. $10 cover at the door, which seemed reasonable. I think this is the highest they charge at any time of day. The security guys were actually pretty nice and held a bag that I had with me in their security room for free (no checking fee). The main floor of the club is kind of in the basement of a row building (long and narrow rectangular layout) in downtown DC on K Street. There's a bar on this floor and two small stages for dancers. The second floor also has dancers at some times I think, but we didn't make it up there. Finally, it has a third floor for private dances. Overall, it's a nice, but small club. Alcohol sales stop at 2:30am, drinks are taken at 3am, but the club stays open until 4am for dances, which is a plus.

The Dancers

The dancers were mostly very attractive, with a mix of ethnicities (mostly white). Mix of natural and fake boobs, as well. Jasmine, one of the dancers, was very attentive to us and playful. Several other dancers were also really nice. I had a VIP private dance and the dancer was quite friendly. Only thing that was kind of weird was that the VIP booths are all in a long row and facing mirrors. Security personnel walk along the back of the VIP booths. I guess this is to make sure there isn't any hanky panky in the VIP booths, but it also reduces the feeling of privacy. My dancer seemed scared of the bouncer. As a summary: hot dancers, big boobs, VIP experience was memorable, security personnel are intense in private dance booths.
