Not too bad (or good)

I made a mid-week visit to Club Play around 3p. It’s the place that used to be Vixens, minus the heavy country and rock music selections. The music is still mostly rock, but they mix a little popish hip hop every now and then. They also changed the decor to reflect the new name and logos.

In the past the dancers were mostly white, with a few Hispanics and a token black woman. This time, there was more diversity with an even mix of black, white, and latina.

Since I’ve been before, I know the place has rules that make for horrible LDs. I just wanted a couple of cheap drinks while watching the World Cup and naked chicks. I got my wish without much hassle. I had 3 Makers Marks and a beer for about $20. In had a couple of barside convos with some nice looking half naked dancers, but knew anything else would be a waste of money. Keep your expectations in check and you’ll enjoy yourself.
