South Hackensack is off my beaten path, but I was passing through so I decided to stop in. I almost drove past the place, because it is rather unassuming on the outside. I found parking on the street not too far away. The area is quite small, but not too cramped; it has a stage surrounded by a bar, and then there are seats. The bartender was nice (and attractive). They had several big screen televisions showing sports (with the volume down). I ordered a Coors Lite, which was $5.

It was not dead, but there were not too many people there. There were maybe three or four other customers, I think all over 50. There were also about 5 dancers. They were of various ethnicities and races. They all looked to be more or less the stereotypical dancers, i.e., younger, thin, and busty. They were all attractive, although not drop-dead gorgeous.

After buying a beer, one dancer approaches me and asks if I would buy her a drink. I did ($8 for a mixed drink, although I don't actually know what was in it). We talked a bit. She made good conversation and seemed quite intelligent. We talked about sports, real estate, transportation, and the art market. She was white, Latina, and quite thin and busty. She told me she was over 40, and while I don't think she would lie about it, I was surprised since she seemed younger.
