Just say NO!

My mistake was most likely going to Spearmint Rhino first. More about that visit to follow, but in terms of female quality it was night and day.

I was in LA for business and had a free afternoon so I decided to see what all he City of Industry hoopla was all about. I went to SR for a couple hours and then moved down the street to Paradise Showgirls, arriving at about 5:00pm. Bad move. The parking lot at Paradise was small but more than adequate fo the time of day. The cover to get in was $15 but I was handed a coupon for a free drink. Drinks were strictly non-alcoholic since this is a nude bar. The main room was very dark to the point that it was almost five minutes before I felt I could safely navigate the room to find a seat. There was one girl on stage when I entered, but she was just finishing up her set. That was the last stage dance I saw at Paradise in the hour I was there. Looking around I saw maybe 4-5 other patrons.

After I sat down I was immediately approached by a young overweight Latina. She was followed within seconds by a waitress whose only vocabulary, I would eventually conclude was, “Wanna buy the lady a drink?” I declined the drink sale, and the girl and I went through the introductory formalities before she got quickly to the point of asking if I wanted a dance. Again, I declined but she sat there for at least another 15 minutes, occasionally leaning over to tell me what a great dancer she is and how I’d be really happy if I’d just spend some money on her. Finally, she walked away and was almost immediately followed by another overweight Latina and the waitress. Same story as before. Drink offer, dance offer, claims of extremely good dances, etc., etc., etc. There were perhaps 10 dancers in the House, and most of them eventually got to me with almost the same lines. It almost seemed like they had a written script they all memorized. But, the problem is that I found none of them attractive. Absolutely none. Further, during this whole time there were no dancers on stage. Finally, I wrote it off as a hopeless cause and left.
