Kind of weak

I went over to Cowboys to see how it is playing these days. The club is pretty much as others have described. Small stage with pole, bigger main stage with 2 poles, usually keeping 1 dancer at each pole for 1-2 songs each. They tend to lose clothes as they move from first pole to last pole. Seems this keeps girls off the floor for long periods of time, so not a big fan. Sometimes they do this at Rhino with 3 poles (actually they have a 4th but don't use it as an official stop. What you can say about Cowboys is the beer is reasonable but the girls do a hard sell to have you buy drinks (especially for them) that are kind of pricy. I find that sometimes a girl will sit but often it seems she almost requires you spend $10-20 on a drink first. The standard couch room is wide open with couches around 3 walls of a square. The DJ looks down onto the room so any non-official play activities have to be concealed. A nice tip for the DJ can help but even then, no real guarantee. If you go to the VIP they are individual booths but they seem to have cameras. This day I just did a couple regular and no VIP dances. The regulars were $40 for 2 according to the girl I took. She was thin and bony and really did more air than contact. Wasn't too happy. I never quite know why I bother trying the clubs other than Divas. I want some extras. If I want to just look, I may as well camp at Rhino rail and feed $1 a song.
