Didn’t care for it.

Went to this place once before the building collapsed and just returned now that they’ve rebuilt and we’re out in dC handing out free admission passes (apparently there’s a $20 cover charge). Didn’t really care for it before, and not much is any different. The layout is mostly the same, maybe minor differences. It IS freshly rebuilt so the place in and of itself is really nice. You won’t be disappointed with that. The outside looks like a fairly alright area but I was still bothered by an unsavory character on the way in. The prices are excessive even by stripclub standards; a tiny jack and coke with a few dollars tip to the tune of $20. The strippers themselves were high on the hustle factor and the staff/management seemed to think unnecessarily highly of themselves. The strippers weren’t much to look at on this occasion. Several very overweight (not thick, but fat, like guts hanging out), some too tattooed and not in an attractive way, some straight outta the hood. A couple waitresses were just decent. The place just didn’t have any draw to it. Maybe I’ll check back next year when they’ve been open longer and maybe made some realistic improvements.
