I returned again to the Cellar,...

I returned again to the Cellar, only to find it had not changed much from my previous visits. I'm sure I will return, but only because I live in Joliet and hey, I'm too lazy to drive far too often.

THE CLUB: 4

Admission is 5$ and no longer comes with 1 beer (I guess they stopped this a few years back). Beers are about 5$ each and the bar area is a square bar with stools around. A few tables with uncomfortable chairs and no booths. No strip club ambiance, this place is straight up corner bar. As the name suggests, the club is in the lower half of a building, so you go down into the 'cellar' when entering. I don't know what is upstairs, but it doesn't look to be much...so parking is not a problem. In fact, this is one difference from previous visits. The parking area (open lot) is now better lit and has a guy monitoring cameras aimed at it. Normally I hate when people point out this sort of stuff, but the neighborhood is fairly shady, so a guy coming into the club (who is going to be carrying cash...duh) might worry about getting out. Rest easier knowing that if you do get stabbed and robbed, the video of it will be well lit and watched on the evening news.
