Interesting Setup

I finally gave The Lido Room in NYC a try recently. I was intrigued by some of the reviews here and had been meaning to visit NYC anyway so it made sense for me to go and see what it was all about.

The signup process for membership was smooth and straightforward. After I was approved, I started getting invites immediately. My plan all along had been to make my first visit on a Thursday night, since this is apparently their big night with around 60-70 dancers in lingerie.

After Ubering it to their Midtown location and paying the $50 cover, I entered a reasonably-sized lounge area that was darkly lit like a standard nightclub. The bar area was where most dancers and patrons were mingling. Music was playing at a normal volume and lap dances were taking place in a large, curtained-off area to the side which was much larger than the "non-dancing" area.
