Lust in the Afternoon

Wrapped up work early on a rare business trip to Minneapolis and had a couple of hours to kill before I needed to leave for the airport. With no personal experience with MN clubs, TUSCL PLs gave DTC the best overall ratings. It's 1:00; TUSCL posted opening time at 4:00, but Google Maps said 11:00. In this case, Google was right. The DTC's physical plant is decent; large, high-ceilinged main room with the main stage at the far end; table seating on the main floor, plus seats in the gynecology section around the stage and what appeared to be booths on the right side. The bar (my usual preference) was up a couple of steps to the left. Big screen TVs all around in the bar area, along with a partially-obstructed view of the stage. Twins game on TV, a cute, efficient bartender, and I'm settled in. Call liquor at $5, a good value. At this early hour, there were two dancers and eight or so customers; the bartender was waiting on tables as well. Dancers did three-song sets with a break song between them. Rock and roll from the DJ, not too loud for a conversation; overall a calm, slow start to the shift. By 2:00, two other dancers had arrived. Overall, decent (~7) in appearance; no knockouts, but everyone was "Minnesota nice." In my experience, al it takes is one dancer for a positive experience, and the slender brunette on stage seemed to fill the bill. Made my way to the stage and tipped A**** well enough to get her attention. After her set, she stopped by the bar and offered some company. Dances at $20 each or a private "room" for $240/half hour. The vibe with A**** was good enough to pull the trigger on the room. The private area was along a corridor between the bar and the stage, with curtained booths big enough for a loveseat and cocktail table. Pricing got a bit confusing when the bartender came in; I had paid the bouncer but if you buy a bottle of champagne (~$100) the room and girl drops to $200. OK, and the curtain closes. Had an intense time with A****; mileage not out of the ordinary but the good connection between us made me a happy camper. Returned to the bar after the 30 minutes, closed my tab and called an Uber. Overall, my DTC afternoon was about as expected, and I'd repeat if the opportunity presented itself.
