First and Last

Stopped in at H-VIII on a Friday night at around 10:30 for the very first time. Had been to Bogarts several times and wanted to see what the sister club was like.......... I didn't like. Park your own car, $5 to get in and I think about $12-14 for two beers. Mostly a lot of very large AA dancers in the house, none of which were very attractive. I had hopes that like Bogarts, there would be one or two diamonds in the rough to be had; this visit they were all just rough.

The building is chopped up with the stages kinda scattered about in disorganized fashion making it hard to even find a place to comfortably stand while chugging our beers. Note that the place was very crowded so obviously this place does serve its purpose for a certain set of clientele; it was just not what we were looking for. Bathroom was barely acceptable, dirty, no soap and generally pretty nasty. I won't be back.
