Thursday
I hadn't been to the Cricket for some years, when I felt the itch to go out. Parking was free and as it was the nightshift (8pm) there was a $10 cover. It was surprisingly crowded as 10-12 tables and most of the bar already had seated patrons. I ordered a bottle of water ($3 I believe) and had a seat at the bar.
The décor was much the same as I remembered it; Multiple screens set up around the bar and stage played sports and music videos. 5 booths were set up around the club, and a private booth was set up and off to the side by the bar. The tables surround the stage which has 2 poles on with another 2 poles at either end of the bar. Only one girl was on stage until later in the evening when they entered into a 2 girl rotation. On the weekends 4 girls will dance at all 4 stations. The club is decently lit with artesian light fixtures and numerous stage lights of course. While it still has a slight dive-bar feel to it, it's actually quite nice, heads and tales above low-rent clubs like Bogarts or Henry VIII. The bathrooms are quite nice and clean with no attendant.
There were 10+ girls dancing that night. They were mixed with about a 60/40 split tending towards black girls, which is different from what I remember. They mostly ranged from 6's to 8's. All brunette save for one blonde. The waitress and bartenders were also fairly attractive.
I was approached with and sat with a dancer whose name began with L, an attractive (9) white brunette with long black hair, large implants, and a nice personality. We spent some time talking before going in the back for dances.
Now, here are where some changes had been made. There was now a $10 charge to go in back, and since I didn't get a wristband I took that to mean there was a charge every time. The carpeting was gone, replaced with hard wood, and the small booths with flimsy curtains had been redesigned. There were fewer of them as they seemed to have been enlarged so that each booth was more spacious so that the dancer could move around in them, and the curtains were more concealing. I tipped the bouncer $5 to make sure there was no peaking going on, and there wasn't.
