Looking for that diamond in the rough

I go to this club fairly often so it’s only right I left a review for it. Diamond Girls is one of the few clubs in the Durham area. As other reviewers have noted, the outside of the club is somewhat run down and unassuming. Usually plenty of parking. Inside you come to a small lobby where you pay; evening cover is $7. Inside there is seating around a stage with 2 poles. And more seating in the back on a raised platform. There is a small bar in the corner, and an upstairs level with the private dance booths.

Table dances are $10 and private are $25. Drink prices are reasonable; before 10:30 some beers are $2, and after $3.5 or $4. Tonight (Thursday) there are only about 10 girls working, maybe 12 customers. On weekends there are much much more and it can get crazy inside. For a while, dancers were mainly black and Latina, however nowadays it’s more mixed but still predominantly black. And for that reason, as others have noted, this club has a different feel than your typical club. But a good time is to be had. The girls are usually decent looking (4-7), some ratchet, but most are kind and good conversationalist. They play a lot of hip hop, r and b and top 40. My mileage here has never anything more than some touching, as the private rooms have cameras. But the dancers do their best and I’ve always enjoyed them. I keep coming back here because of the laid back feel, good music, juicy women and cheap drinks.
