Upstairs VIP Review

This review is specifically for the upstairs “VIP” section of Polekatz. Sorry for the LONG review, but it’s pretty detailed. Some of this is from my personal experience, some is what some of the dancers or waitresses have told me. All experiences take place between 8pm and closing time, on weekdays and weekends.

The upstairs VIP section has a small stage in the middle with a spinning pole, a bar on one side, tv’s over the bar and a tv projections on the other wall across the room. Seating is nice chairs, 4 around a table, and a few booths. 5 tables overlook the main floor, so sitting there you can see the big stage downstairs, and if a cute girl is on the stage in VIP, you can just spin around to watch her. On the busier nights, like Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, they rotate 2 girls on stage for 2 songs downstairs, and then one of those 2 girls will go to VIP to dance on that stage for 2 more songs. I’ve never seen more than 1 guy near the upstairs stage at a time, so if you had a favorite on the stage upstairs, odds are you’d get her for yourself. I find it is way more comfortable sitting upstairs than on the high top tables downstairs. You must be “welcomed“ upstairs by a host. If you are just siting downstairs and decide you want to go upstairs, I have seen the host come over and tell them to go back downstairs. However, I’ve seen some guests get sat upstairs just randomly, especially when downstairs is getting full. The DJ booth is also upstairs, lots of girls seem to cluster around the DJ booth. I’ve heard that if the girls don’t feel like working the floor, they go to the DJ booth rather than the locker room. I guess If you’re in the locker room, management tends to think you’re not trying, so the DJ booth is for girls that don’t want to try, but don’t want management to realize it. Plus it’s better for all the girls to be seen, because the DJ’s like announcing how many girls are working throughout the night. That number doesn’t work if half of them are in the locker room.

Upstairs bathroom is very clean. Some nights there is a bathroom attendant, but some nights not, I haven’t really been able to nail down a set schedule. This bathroom is hardly used, if you did need a minute of privacy to take the kids to the pool. The 2 stalls lock. Downstairs I needed to use a stall once and it was my 3rd try before I found one that would lock.
