So after a couple of visits to Hong Kong, I got on tuscl a few weeks prior to my trip and asked some Vets for some tips. Thank you to all of you who chimed in, definitely made a difference.

Went to SD on a thursday for work and was able to make it across the border by 2pm. Traffic was a little hectic from Downtown to the border but the crossing was empty.
