Probably the best value in DC

DC’s club scene has the downtown clubs—Camelot, Archibalds, and Mpire—which are expensive and aim to be “classy.” Theres Royal Palace, which is kind of a dump. And there’s Good Guys, which, atmospherically, is kind of in between.

The club has been looking to go more upscale, but it’s still not as fancy. The dancers tend to be friendly, if you’re spending money. I’d say they tend to skew a little older, but they’re still hot and they can carry a conversation. Plenty of pretty young things, if that’s your preference, but more so at night in my experience. I recommend Alaska.

As elsewhere in DC, there are no lap dances. Drink prices, on average, are a couple of bucks less than the downtown clubs, with heavier pours. (However, the Mpire $5 happy hour and $10 lunch—which includes a beer—are still the best deals in town.)
