As good as ever, with a few minor differences
I go to Palomino most times I'm in Las Vegas. It's been a reliably good time, and this visit was no different. The stage show is by far the best, with lots of great dancing and pole tricks. The dancers are all hot, and there are many of them. I was there for hours and never saw the same dancer on stage twice. The drinks are all reasonably priced ($6 for a Coke, $10-ish for other drinks -- half what I've been charged at other Vegas clubs), and there continues to be no drink requirement for VIP. All of this was true again, but I did notice a few small differences on my most recent visit.
The first change was one I caused myself. The only real downside I've encountered to Palomino is that it gets busy as the night goes on, and then there are no places to sit. I like to alternate watching the stage with getting dances, and that doesn't work when your seat disappears. I hate standing around. So this trip I decided to try reserving a seat. I bought the "Best of Both Worlds" package. It was $170 and included transportation, admission, a reserved table for the night, and a small bottle of liquor with mixers. It also included a pitcher of beer, but I had them give me bottles of water instead. Everyone was very nice to me on arrival even though I wasn't a big group, and $170 isn't really much in the scheme of Vegas clubs. They set me up with a great table right at one end of the stage. My main worry was that I'd have a stream of dancers asking for drinks since I had the bucket of ice, the bottle of vodka, and everything all spread out in front of me. Happily, while I had dancers stopping by my table very frequently, not one asked me for a drink, leaving me free to offer as I liked. I don't drink much, so the price wasn't really worth it for the alcohol I consumed, but it was fantastic to come back from a dance and have a place to sit down even as the club filled up. I wouldn't spend the money for a short visit, but I think it was worth it for a long night in the club.
The other few of things that felt different this trip all had to do with the dancers. They were all beautiful, as on previous trips, with a nice mix of ethnicities and body types. However, I think there were a few more with breast implants than before. They were definitely not in the majority, and maybe I was just there long enough to see more dancers, but it felt like the percentage was a little higher. I prefer the look (and feel) of natural breasts, so I wasn't super excited to see more of the artificial ones.
