It Won’t be My Obsession

Arrived about 5:30, having parked on the US side and walked across the border.

There are a number of parking lots on the USA side, but most said they closed at 7pm. I did not know if I was going to stay the night, so I did not want to get trapped. Up from the McDonalds is a self-serve lot that said it was good for 24 hours ($8) and did not have gates. I traded security for flexibility.

I bought what I thought was a 24-hour pass, but the receipt said that it expired after 12 hours (5am), so I am guessing that after 12 hours I cannot add time, but that it was good until 5pm the next day. Turns out that I did not have to test that assumption.
