Slow start

Was in Athens for a business meeting and decided the yearly visit to Toppers was in order. The small group I was with arrived a little after 9pm. There were several ladies standing outside on the sidewalk, almost as "hawkers" as we approached. One turned out to be the door lady who came in behind us to check us in. After an ID check and wristband, we paid our $5 cover. As we came down the hall, we began to scan the room. That is when we realized that we may have come in a little too early. For the first 1.5 hours there were only 3-4 other customers in the club. The dancers, if not on stage, were sitting in groups at the round tables between the main room and pool table area and at the bar. For first count, there were 7 dancers 4 white, 3 black. On my visit about a year ago there wasn't much diversity present in dancers or customers.

Despite the light crowd, we eventually were joined by several dancers that ranged, at least for my taste, between 6-8. They were a range of body types from white spinners to medium and larger girls of all flavors. This night the cutest three were Rain, Sky and Piper. All the girls were good conversationalist. None of them were pushy for dances and all seemed to enjoy sitting, drinking and talking. I never noticed any dances out on the floor, besides the stage shows, but saw a couple of guys get the wristband to go to the group VIP room. Prices quoted were - $30 per song in big VIP room with one way touching and light grinding, to $300 for the "Executive" VIP room which is supposedly more private. Base on past experiences and consistent reviews, I didn't participate in either VIP.

As the night progressed, more and more dancers showed up and began to come out onto the floor. The later dancer mix was almost all white girls ranging from 6-8. The crowds also began to filter in between 10:30-11:30pm. By the time we left, before midnight, the club had at least 25 girls out on the floor and approximately 30-40 customers. One of the girls was lamenting that while it gets more crowded as the night wears on, the younger guys don't really spend much money but like to hang out. Many are already fairly drunk when they come in according to the dancer I was visiting with. She said she really liked it when "older guys" like my group visited the club.
